About the Farm

In 2024, the opportunity to rent a beautiful 3-stall barn on a wonderful piece of property presented itself. After two years of getting comfortable and creating a home for two amazing horses, it was time to make lessons available to the community.

At Riverdance Farm, we tailor our lesson plans to each rider, ensuring their goals are met. It is important to create horsemen and women who not only respect the horse but also build confidence in themselves. Our focus is on emphasizing the importance of and care for the horse, while understanding how their mind and body work.

Riverdance Farm is home to two amazing horses. Little Oak’s Riverdance “Danny” is our lesson horse and is a 22-year-old Morgan gelding. Igniting Ezra “Ezra” is a 4-year-old Morgan gelding and is currently the “project” at the farm, in hopes that one day he will fill Danny’s horseshoes.

The Crew

Sierra Wallace

Sierra’s passion for working with horses began when she was four years old and testing out a “horse phase” that forever stuck. She began riding locally in Phippsburg, Maine, on a Morgan named Gallant Mission Impossible “Snoopy.” Her and Snoopy’s showing career started when she was seven years old and continued from there.

Sierra worked toward expanding her knowledge of horses in any way she could. In 2018, she did a 3-week externship at Myhre Equine Clinic in Rochester, NH. She worked closely with the large animal veterinarians and learned many aspects of veterinary care.

In 2021, she began working as a lesson instructor at Serendipity Stables in Brookline, NH, under Nicole Grainger-Semales. She learned many aspects of teaching and training that she still uses today. Eventually, she took the role of barn manager. Helping manage many lesson students and lesson horses, along with everyday barn care.

Eventually, Maine called Sierra back, where she continued to show and train her horse, Danny (who was bought in 2019). In 2024, Sierra began her own training after buying Ezra and began renting the barn where Riverdance Farm currently resides. Now, in 2026, she was able to offer lessons. A lifelong dream of hers.

Little Oak’s Riverdance “Danny”

Danny is a 22-year-old Morgan gelding that Sierra bought as a 15-year-old in 2019. Danny is a fan favorite and captures the hearts of many. He is sweet as can be and always strives to please his rider. Danny always gives his best and has been successful in the show ring, both in western pleasure and hunt seat. He has given lessons to ages ranging from 3 years old to 50 years old.

Igniting Ezra “Ezra”

Ezra is a 4-year-old Morgan that called Riverdance Farm his home in 2024. He isn’t a lesson horse but is a current “project” in training at Riverdance Farm. He is a quirky boy and is curious about everything. He shows a promising future and has progressed nicely in training. Ezra puts a smile on everyone’s faces who meet him with his need for affection. Stay in the loop with Ezra’s progress on our Facebook page!

Pup-cup Expert

Hudson

While he may not be a horse, you may see this boy around at the barn. Hudson is a 4-year-old Black Lab who loves everyone and everything. He will be the first to say “Hi” to you, and if you have treats, he’ll never say “Good-bye.”
